The Munro Inn

Ceud Měle Fŕilte!

Situated in Bonnie Strathyre, the “first village of the Highlands”, but just over an hour away from Glasgow and Edinburgh, the Munro Inn offers a superb base for a touring holiday, a stop-over while walking the Rob Roy Way (which passes our door!), a relaxing weekend away or an afternoon or evening with friends.

A traditional Victorian Highland Inn refurbished to a very high standard, the Munro Inn has a cosy public bar and lively lounge bar, with conservatory dining room, library with broadband internet access and richly decorated bedrooms. Cycle racks, laundry and a group room sleeping up to ten people give walkers, bikers and cyclists a place to dry off and relax.

Food is served all day (8am to 10pm), from early morning breakfasts through lunches, afternoon teas and dinner. We can also supply packed lunches or picnics for your day out.

Dogs are welcome in the public and lounge bars and can of course stay in your room.

Whether you want an active holiday cycling, walking, canoeing, fishing, sightseeing or simply want to relax in front of the open fire with a malt whisky from our extensive range, our friendly staff will ensure that you are given a warm welcome making your time at the Munro Inn a special experience.

(Incidentally, if you're wondering about the Gaelic, it translates as 'a hundred thousand welcomes')
