Going back to the Classics

Monday, June 30, 2014

As always, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the lovely ladies at The Broke and the Bookish.

Today on the blog we are looking at "the classics" in literature. As an English major, this was a tough decision. I have so many favorites in the classics genre that I wanted to pick more than ten!

1. Daisy Miller by
One Hundred Years of Solitude by
The Age of Innocence by
Emma by
Tender Is the Night by

  1. Wuthering Heights. It's the only book I've read more than once. I love it!

  2. I've never even heard of The Crying of Lot 49! Sounds different, to say the least. I've heard of The Sun Also Rises, though... and, unfortunately, it's made my list of my top ten least favourite books of all time. Emma and One Hundred Years of Solitude are books that I wanted to read -- that I started to read -- but never got through. Judging by your list, you've got a lot more patience with some books than I have! (That's probably a good thing; I've most likely missed out because my attention span isn't what it should be for many classics.)
