Review: Confess by Colleen Hoover

Monday, April 13, 2015
Why I chose this book:
All of you guys know how much of a CoHo fan I am. I will seriously read EVERYTHING this lady publishes. So needless to say, I read this book as soon as it was available via Amazon. Luckily I found the time to read it during spring break and utterly enjoyed it.

Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there's no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn't expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.

For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

The last thing Owen wants is to love Auburn, but he can't seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin. (Goodreads)

Review: Hopeless by Colleen Hoover

Thursday, January 22, 2015
Why I chose this book:
I have had the fortune of randomly deciding to buy Ugly Love this past summer, and ever since then, I have completely fallen in love with everything that is Colleen Hoover. She is my favorite contemporary novelist, and will most likely stay that way for a long time to come. Needless to say, I am slowly scattering her books throughout my TBR pile, and this week’s flavor was Hopeless.

Why I chose this book:
Immediately after finishing Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover, I had to get another one of her books, and that damn “Buy Now with 1 Click” button that Amazon puts on just the most tempting books (which happens to be all the books) just called my name… and loved every second of draining my already depleted bank account.

Review: Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover

Wednesday, August 6, 2014
Why I chose this book:
I have seen so many people raving about Colleen Hoover’s books for a while now, but since I was never much into the New Adult genre, I never really gave any of her books a second glance. I decided I would take a chance on her newest novel, Ugly Love, and I’m so glad I did because it brought me to my knees for all the feels it gave me. I loved this book, and I may even go so far as to say that Colleen Hoover may have just made me a contemporary genre convert. Did I mention that I just bought it yesterday afternoon and finished it within 5 hours?

He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
