Guest Review: Delirium by Lauren Oliver

Friday, January 8, 2016
Why I chose this book:
Delirium is one of those books that has been on my radar since it came out (back in 2012), but quickly got buried amongst other books on my TBR list and then, unfortunately, forgotten. That is until I read Amanda’s post asking for volunteers to write some reviews for her. I knew right away that I wanted to participate and so when I spotted Delirium on the list I jumped at the opportunity to finally try reading it. So another huge thank you to Amanda for putting this whole thing together and giving me the book!

Synopsis:
Ninety-five days, and then I'll be safe. I wonder whether the procedure will hurt. I want to get it over with. It's hard to be patient. It's hard not to be afraid while I'm still uncured, though so far the deliria hasn't touched me yet. Still, I worry. They say that in the old days, love drove people to madness. The deadliest of all deadly things: It kills you both when you have it and when you don't. (Goodreads)
